Owned and managed by three managing directors, NEVEQ Capital Partners is the General Partner of NEVEQ L.P.

Pavel Ezekiev, managing director, was director and country head of Deutsche Bank Bulgaria and former executive director of InvestBulgaria Agency. He spent most of his professional career with Deutsche Bank London, where he worked on the M&A and several industry corporate finance teams. Pavel is a board member of two non-NEVEQ related companies with leading positions in the region. Pavel is a Trustee of the American University in Bulgaria and holds several professional distinctions.

Konstantin Petrov, managing director, was a cofounder of Orbitel, Bulgaria's leading alternative telecom provider, sold to Deutsche Telecom. He has significant entrepreneurial experience and is a recognized industry professional with several leadership roles in professional associations across the region.

Ivo Evgeniev, managing director, is a private equity professional with track record of managing a total of four funds in the region. He was formerly with UBS Private Equity in London and has had a successful principal investment role in several leading regional businesses, including the Bulgarian Telecommunications Company (Vivacom), KAI Group, Ceres Agriculture and others.

Investment managers

Мarin Iliev is an Investment Manager specialised in deal sourcing, negotiation and structuring, due diligence coordination and analysis, strategy refinement and monitoring of investee companies. Marin started his professional carrier in the US with Scudder Investments and Deutsche Asset Management. Afterwards he joined EPIC – a Bulgarian corporate finance house, advising foreign and local companies and investors on M&A, private equity placements and fund raising. Later he became Senior Investment Manager at Rosslyn Capital Partners - a leading private equity company. Marin has a degree in Business Administration from the American University in Bulgaria.

Petar Nedyalkov is an Investment Manager focusing on financial technologies, semantic and digital signage technology. Prior to joining NEVEQ, Petar worked as a CTO for Reality Invent, a Bulgarian startup company developing an innovative digital signage solutions. He worked Orbitel and for the Institute for Computer and Communication Systems at Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. Petar earned a BSc degree in Informatics at Sofia University, Bulgaria.

Mihaelena Damianova is an Investment Manager focusing on new media, internet communication platforms and social media. Prior to joining NEVEQ Mihaelena was a regional development director of Orbitel, an alternative telecom company in SE Europe. She was a member of the management team leading the company through its internet start-up phase to an acquisition by Deutsche Telecom in 2006. Mihaelena also have marketing experience from the start-up phases of mobile operators Mobikom and Mobiltel. Mihaelena graduated at Finance at the University for World and National Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Stefan Minchev is an Investment Manager focusing on disruptive innovations in the travel industry. Stefan worked for over three years with InvestBulgaria Agency where he became Head of Investment Marketing within the Investment and Statistics Department. He was Managing Partner at a consultancy boutique operating in the field of M&A, corporate finance and strategy advisory providing services to international and local businesses. Stefan holds an Executive MBA from the American University in Bulgaria and a Master’s degree in International Business Relations from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia, Bulgaria.
