Pavel is co-founder of NEVEQ Capital Partners, where he is focused on early stage content and distribution businesses.
He started his career at Microsoft Finance in Redmond, after a degree in finance and French at Northeastern University. Later, Pavel was an investment banker with Deutsche Bank in London. He became Deutsche's chief country officer in Bulgaria, where he set up the bank's operation in 2004.
Pavel has been an entrepreneur since 2006, when he started and later chaired Sofica Group, acquired in 2014 by Denver-based TeleTech (TTEC), a leader in customer engagement.
He competes in downhill and off-piste skiing and kitesurfing and is a freelance photographer for lifestyle and outdoors media. Pavel is a trustee at the American University in Bulgaria. He speaks five languages and lives in Bern.
